Jeremy Thompson, giving evidence to the Commons science and technology committee, said that giving a view on China’s Hong Kong legislation would be inconsistent with his role at Huawei PA WIRE.
A British Huawei executive has refused to comment on China’s repressive security law in Hong Kong, after insisting that he was free to express his views.
