Dame Diana Rigg dies, aged 82

Dame Diana Rigg, whose career spanned from The Avengers to Game of Thrones by way of some of the greatest roles in classical theatre, has died aged 82. Her daughter, the actress Rachael Stirling, 43, said: “My beloved Ma died peacefully in her sleep early this morning, at home, surrounded by family.”
