Lebanon's new Prime Minister

Mustafa Adib’s selection by a panel comprising four previous prime ministers was ratified by the leaders of all the largest parliamentary factions. Lebanon’s political leaders appointed a new prime minister yesterday, a compromise choice designed to show the West and in particular President Macron of France that they were committed to political reform.
