Aerial baiting program to begin for foxes and wild dogs in NSW

The New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has defended an aerial baiting program due to take place in Mount Royal National Park, near Barrington Tops, over the next two weeks. The program, which will see meat laced with toxin sodium fluoroacetate (1080) dropped into the park, is designed to minimise the impact of foxes and wild dogs on wildlife and neighbouring livestock.
