Today, China’s Ambassador to Australia told us it reserves the right to use military force to seize control of Taiwan against the wishes of the island’s 23 million people.

Xiao Qian warned Beijing is prepared to use “all necessary means” to prevent Taiwan from being independent, saying there can be “no compromise” on the “one China” policy.
