Russian actress Maria Shukshyna called on Russians to report to the police those who listen to Ukrainian music. With millions of ethnic Ukrainians living in Russia she said there is now a “war of cultural codes” and said Russians should contact police if songs by Verka Serdyuchka and Sofia Rotaru were heard.
