Prominent Aboriginal Australian Warren Mundine has joined calls for the ABC to be axed from hosting the annual New Year's Eve fireworks coverage after yet another another divisive and politically-charged broadcast.
The Left-wing City of Sydney Council, which runs the fireworks, had renamed the 9pm fireworks in 2023 as 'Calling Country' as a celebration of Indigenous Australia.
