Donald Trump targets China in stinging UN speech.
President Trump used an address at the United Nations to accuse China of “unleashing a plague on the world” as he promoted his America First policy as a model for other countries.
Mr Trump was in full election mode as he delivered a pre-recorded, barnstorming speech to the video assembly minutes after the secretary-general marked the UN’s 75th anniversary by warning of a “new Cold War” between the United States and China.
