Prince Henrik refused to be buried with his queen

 

Married for 50 years Prince Henrik was unhappy with the title he was given – the “Prince Consort of Denmark.”  So angry in fact, he refused to be buried next to his queen unless she changed his title to “king consort.”

She did not and when he died, he was cremated.
