The home of an accused pedophile has been restrained for the first time using proceeds-of-crime laws, in an ‘aggressive’ new federal police strategy. From now on, paedophiles will have their property confiscated including their houses, cars and all other assets. Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton revealed groundbreaking new crime laws in September that will see police take all assets of criminals who make money through exploiting children.
