Omar Bin Laden

Al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden's fourth eldest child Omar, has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital with drug-induced schizophrenia. His 54 year old English wife Jane Felix Browne changed her name to Zaine when they married. They were hoping to have a child with a surrogate mother living in England but have recently split up after he began to hear his father's voice in his head. His wife said she is heartbroken but couldn't cope anymore.

Omar has had several visa applications to live in Britain rejected and it was thought that if he had a child born in Britain, it might help him get a visa.

Zaina knew Omar had bipolar disorder when she met him. He had manic periods when he was very enthusiastic about everything then crashing lows when he was quiet and subdued and stayed in bed all day. Omar was Zaina's sixth husband. She blames her husband's troubles solely on his father and the terrorist atrocities he has caused. He loves and hates his father at the same time, he loves him because he's his father but hates what he's done. She thinks he suffered post-traumatic stress disorder after 9/11 - seeing what his father had done ruined his life.

Omar has been living in Qatar and keeping in touch with his wife by phone and email every day at her home in England. Ten days ago she flew to Qatar and took him to a doctor. He was immediately referred to a psychiatric unit but after three days, he checked himself out and his bizarre behaviour continued. When he took the car out and was driving like a maniac with his wife in the car, she knew it had to end. When they got home, she told him she wanted a divorce and returned to England. She says she still loves him with all her heart but can't be with him until he's better.

Omar is one of Osama bin Laden's 11 sons. In a rambling interview with Rolling Stone magazine in Damascus this week he says his father has achieved his goal of humbling the United States and that President Obama has made a grave mistake in sending more troops to Afghanistan. If his father is killed, he warns that his death will unleash terrible attacks by militants and that Afghanistan can never be won, it has nothing to do with his father, it's the

Afghan people.

In 2007 Omar married a British woman almost twice his age. The pair have since been denied entry to Qatar, Egypt and Britain and Spain is rejecting an asylum request. Omar makes his living as a scrap metal dealer in Jeddah. He compares himself to Mel Gibson and dreams of working for the United Nations and meeting President Obama and Hiliary Clinton.

He said that his father was overjoyed when America elected George W Bush because he knew he would attack, spend money and break the country. Also that the US was very lucky that his father had not been killed. 'It's going to be worse when he dies, the world is going to be very, very nasty then, it's going to be a disaster. My father has a religious goal, he is controlled by the rules of jihad, he only kills if he thinks there is a need" he said.

And although he hasn't seen his father for almost 10 years, Omar doesn't believe that bin Laden needs to launch any more big attacks. "He doesn't need to, as soon as American went to Afghanistan, his plan worked, he has already won".

Thanks to the Christmas Day bomber, the whole world is now having to spend a fortune upgrading their airport security systems. Osama's terror regime has indeed cost the world dearly.
