Where does the road go?
Does it lead you home, start a mystery journey for you, maybe it
signifies a new start or is it the road that the "Talking Heads" sang
about in their song "The Road to Nowhere". Published 11 Jan

Adele walking the track to the old train tunnel at Helensburgh. ... The
tunnel is 624 meters in length, the lower end sealed with concrete once the
railway here was abandoned in 1915. The blocking of the end of the tunnel
resulted in it becoming a water reservoir used to supply Helensburgh until the
connection to town water. Even today, with lots of rain, the tunnel floods and
fills up with water. Gumboots are definitely required when adventuring
here.
I'd seen some old pictures of this tunnel during its working life. Standing on the old platform yesterday, I looked at all the lush green foliage. Amazing how nature takes back and takes over again. ...so, last year marked the 100th year of the tunnels closure.

Carambola trees can have several crops every year, so we often see
flowers and tiny fruit setting while we are harvesting.
