Looking out

Looking out over the Jamison Valley at Wentworth Falls yesterday
afternoon. ... The clouds looked like another Sydney summer storm in the
making, but just led to a lovely golden blue sunset. Oh, heard my first cicada
song as well as chasing Christmas beetles out from the light last night. Summer

The River Lett received its name when in 1813 surveyor George William
Evans wrote "Riverlett" clumsily on his map while doing an initial survey
of the area. It was copied as River Lett from then on. With many small waterholes and rapids it is a beautiful spot on hot
summer days. Published 13 Jan
