Trump adviser Peter Navarro jailed

 



Trump adviser Peter Navarro sentenced to 4 months in prison for defying January 6 committee subpoena.

The charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of one month.  

US District Judge Amit P Mehta handed the sentence yesterday and also ordered Navarro to pay a fine of $9,500.


Marcus Stewart seeks support for Aboriginal Voice

 



Marcus Stewart, a Nira illim bulluk man of the Taungurung nation, was a former co-chair of the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria and gave advice to the government in the lead-up to the failed referendum on 14 October.

“We’re not asking you to carry any blame or shame. We’re asking you to roll up your sleeves and be part of the solution with us,” Stewart said.
