Local volunteer lifeguards unite for 1 minute silence at Bondi for those lost on Sunday
Soon after 8am yesterday (Saturday), volunteer lifeguards from two local surf lifesaving clubs lined the shore of Bondi beach and observed one minute silence for those lost last Sunday.

Sydney man, a 43 year old Ahmad Al-Ahmad remains in hospital, where he has undergone surgery for bullet wounds to his arm and hand. This hero tackled the Bondi gunman and took his riple, saving multiple lives and after a GoFundMe page was set up for him, he was presented with a cheque for $2,533,000.
There was a false rumour circulating that he was a Christian Mennonite.
Not true, he is a Syrian Muslim.
