Hunter Valley, Australia

December 2, 2023 : Dan Prior and his son Hunter Prior pose for a photograph at the Mulletfest 2023 Grand Final at Hebburn Motorsport Park in the Hunter Valley, Australia.

This year’s battle for the best mullet haircut attracted contestants from all over Australia, and one finalist from the UK. The competition began in the Hunter Valley town of Kurri Kurri in 2018 as an effort to save a family pub during an economic downturn. It drew international attention for its celebration of the unique hairstyle. The festival is now held annually to raise funds for brain cancer research.
