Prime Minister Scott Morrison says he is "deeply sorry"
the Centrelink website and phone system have been crashing and appealed for
people, "even in these most difficult of circumstances, to be
patient".
But he knew this was
coming and has had months to prepare. Centrelink should be open 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week to remove the panic from these people who suddenly
find themselves potentially homeless.
