Quairading, a small shire in Western Australia’s wheatbelt, 16
kms east of Perth, is looking for a doctor.
On the table for a replacement GP willing to make the move is an annual
package worth $800,000.
The Shire has offered to cover all staffing and running costs of operating the town’s practice, leaving more than $800,000 in estimated gross billings to the doctor.
On top of that, the GP can also take advantage of rent-free accommodation in a modern four-bedroom, two-bathroom home, and could also pocket thousands more if they stick around thanks to the Federal Government’s Workforce Incentive Program Doctor Stream.
