The sweeping border
security and immigration bill passed by a vote of 219-213. Two Republicans,
Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and John Duarte of California, joined all
Democrats in voting against the legislation.
The
bill will likely die in the Democrat-controlled Senate, and the White House has
issued a veto threat.
