Today's ABC Open photos

On the Boardwalk
By AngelinaD ·  · From Pic of the Week

You let the world go by and forget everything when you are enveloped in the beauty and changing scenes along the Boardwalks where you walk above and in the pristine environment of the Tasman Peninsula in Tasmania.   Peace, fresh air, breathtaking views take you to a happy peaceful place where nothing else matters. Bond with a special friend without the dramas of real life and technology with nature as you soak in purity of life. The cabins each night were light, environmentally friendly and encompassed in special parts of the peninsula and were all different in some way.  Get amongst it and grab your friend and backpack and find glory in the journey.

Charlottes Web
By AngelinaD ·  · From Pic of the Week

Whilst trekking through the Rainforest in the Tasman Peninsula I espied not one, but two spider webs shining in the sunshine. Normally I am fearful of spiders and keep my distance but the walking as part of my glorious Trek in the beautiful scenes of the Three Capes Walk, had nurtured my soul to be in a happy place and with peace to the wonders of nature so I stopped to take this photo.
There was a feeling of togetherness depicted by the closeness of the two webs and a warm positivity was emitted with the sun shining on the spiders' homes.  Published 06 Apr 2017.  Fortescue TAS 7182
