Sunrise
overlooking The Needles in
Southwest National Park

I started off early in hopes of capturing the sunrise over The Needles
in the Southwest National Park. I wasn't disappointed. I had read it was a relatively easy climb to the
summit point. I eagerly headed off as it had been on my long list for
quite some time.
I hadn't quite reached the summit when I was rewarded with the most
beautiful rays of sunlight. Upon reaching the summit the mist rolled in
making visibility low but breathtakingly beautiful. Definitely a rewarding
short walk in the Southwest National Park.
