Sunrise over
The Bluff in the mist
By Andrea Claire Scott · · From Pic of the Week
This is a view from my parents' Tunnack sheep property,
"Gettington" at sunrise. There are fat lambs grazing in the foreground, mist and functional
windmill in the mid-ground, backdropped by the sun rising over The Bluff Who'd want to live anywhere else? Published 21 Apr

Mt Arapiles -
Rock Climb
By Greg Gorter · · From Pic of the Week
Mt Arapiles is regarded as one of Australia's premier "Rock
Climbing" locations. Rising sharply from the Wimmera plains to form part
of the Tooan State Park, "The Arapiles" as its commonly known, not
only has unique rock climbing faces, but also a variety of beautiful flora
& fauna in the Wimmera district. Situated approx 10klm from the small town
of Natimuk, the Arapiles immediately engage you as a prehistoric form of
metamorphic rock faces as they rise to over 370m (1,210ft) above the skyline.
The Aboriginal name for Arapiles is "Djurite".
