Budgie swarm

I found this out on Peedamulla road, near Onslow in Western Australia –
there were literally millions of budgies all rocketing around. After the rains we had a few months ago, we have had various population
explosions. It started with beetles, then grasshoppers and now these little
birds. I can only compare them to huge flocks of starlings. Published 22 May
