A rare 15th-century tapestry, the oldest owned by the National Trust,
has returned to display at Montacute House after four years of conservation
work, including nearly 1,300 hours of hand sewing. The tapestry was woven in
1480 in what is now Belgium, however more than 400 years of its history remains
unknown.
