Doctors from UK, Ireland and New Zealand fast-tracked to Australia

Doctors from the UK, Ireland and New Zealand will have their ability to practise in Australia fast-tracked from next week under new changes introduced by regulators.

The changes will allow international medical specialists to apply directly to the Medical Board of Australia for registration, rather than be assessed individually by a specialist college like the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
