American-born Shamsud-Din Jabbar who grew up in Texas, drove a white Ford pick-up truck flying an Islamic State flag into throngs of people in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve with the aim of killing as many people as possible.
He
crashed the vehicle, then opened fire and died in a shootout with police.
