Volkswagen Revs Up ID.3 Electric Car Production At Zwickau Plant

ZWICKAU, GERMANY - FEBRUARY 25: Newly-built ID.3 electric cars stand parked at the Volkswagen factory on February 25, 2020 in Zwickau, Germany. Volkswagen is gradually revving up ID.3 production at the Zwickau plant from a current 110 per day to an eventual 1,500. The Zwickau plant is the first of its many factories that Volkswagen is retooling from producing combustion engine cars to only producing electric cars. Sales of the ID.3 will begin this summer.
