For seven years, two Sydney brothers Alexander Busse of Rose Bay and Ioan Busu of Chatswood allegedly sold cocaine, MDMA, prescription drugs and other illicit substances in small amounts to thousands of users across Australia via the Dark Web.
The Dark Web now represents a global $14 billion industry
according to Chainalysis’ annual Crypto Crime Report, with illicit sites
doubling their revenue from 2020’s $7 billion.
