Sakina Muhammad Jan cried and protested her innocence as she
became the first person in Australia to be jailed for breaking forced marriage
laws. Six weeks after the forced wedding
of her daughter Ruqia Haidari, her new husband killed her by slashing her
throat with a kitchen knife.
