Face full of flower

Martin keeps them to brighten up the set and they do this with ease always ready to please.  Borrowed their costume from the rainbow never gave it back, think this is pretty slack.  Lucky the rainbow liked to share so had another to spare.  So they are always ready to brighten up your day in every way.

The aptly named Remarkable Cave
By lifecatchme ·  · From Pic of the Week

Yesterday I visited one of my favourite places in Tasmania: Remarkable Cave on the Tasman Peninsula near Port Arthur.  I didn't go into the cave on this occasion, taking this shot from the viewing platform at the rear of the cave.  Recent storms and tides have gouged out a heap of sand in the cave, creating a pool of deep thigh high water to wade through right in the middle of the cave. Thought I'd stay dry for once and just stay on the platform.  Published 13 Jan 2017.  Port Arthur TAS 7182

Din Din
By MediaWatcher ·  · From My Back Roads

Currently, Din Din (Barron Falls) is thundering after recent rains.
Often I wish that we could revert to the original Aboriginal place names like Uluru, for the many iconic landmarks that draw tourists. I think this would go a long way in showing respect to the original inhabitants. Our 'Europeanization' of the land in terms of place names is sooooooo boring by comparison with that of original Aboriginal meaning and language.
In regards to my picture, my only disappointment is that it is hard to determine a sense of scale. I wish someone would stand atop on the foreground pinnacle holding a red umbrella. Then you would see a person being dwarfed by a thundering Din Din.

Apparently this doesn't happen very often back home in the Netherlands!
This little green frog decided to hitch a ride on one of our backpackers as he picked lychees this morning.   Published 13 Jan 2017.  Rockhampton City QLD 4700
