Loyalist and protestant band members take part in a socially distanced Twelfth parade on the Shankill road. Most Twelfth of July parades, which celebrate the 1690 defeat of Catholic King James II by the Protestant William of Orange, were cancelled in April amid the UK coronavirus lockdown. Now, groups of up to 30 people are allowed to meet outdoors while social distancing, and many parades planned to resume under those conditions
