Cranbrook headmaster
Nicholas Sampson resigned last week.
When Four Corners asked why Sampson had been permitted to resign,
rather than be terminated, the school first refused to answer, citing its own
internal investigation.
It was only when I mentioned the investigation had no legal force
and parents whose fees had been increased by 11 per cent this year were furious
at the notion Sampson might get a golden handshake, that the school finally
came back with: "There is no agreement [on a payment] and the School is
considering its position in relation to his contract".........
