Chris Bowen had to water down proposed
carbon emission laws for vehicles, as auto makers feared it would push up the
price of some popular Aussie cars by thousands of dollars.
Also the enforcement of the climate standard
date will also be delayed by six months from its scheduled New Year start date
to July 2025.........
