Jie Shao was found guilty today of manslaughter after performing a banned procedure on Jean Huang, the operator of an unlicensed beauty clinic in Sydney.
Ms Huang was mistakenly given too much of the local anaesthetic lidocaine by Shao who identified as a doctor. However, she wasn't registered as a MD in Australia or China.
She will be sentenced at a later date.
