A British
Airways pilot has said he cannot wait to return to the US to thank medics who
helped to keep him alive while he battled coronavirus for a record 243
days.
Nick Synott, 52, spent eight months in hospitals around Houston, Texas, after falling ill during a trip to the United States last March. He suffered respiratory failure and was kept alive on ventilators and a heart and lung machine as his wife, Nicki, sat at his bedside every day. Source: The Times
