Outgoing US Vice-President Mike Pence will attend president-elect Joe Biden's inauguration. He was criticised by Donald Trump and his supporters for his role in certifying Joe Biden’s win.
President Trump will be the first sitting president since Andrew Johnson in 1869 (who was impeached) to skip his successor's inauguration.
