Julian
Assange has won his bid to appeal his extradition to the United States but was
too ill to attend court via video link. He has been granted leave to mount a
fresh appeal against his extradition and will remain at Belmarsh Prison,
pending a hearing date.
President
Biden said he is considering a request from PM Anthony Albanese, calling for the
return of Assange to his native Australia.
