Chinese Port of Darwin's lease could be terminated

 

The Chinese company that operates the Port of Darwin faces having its controversial 99-year lease terminated by the NT Government after expressing concerns about the firm's financial position.

Landbridge Infrastructure Australia is yet to make a profit since 2015, when it signed a 99-year lease with the NT Government to operate the port, in a deal that prompted a furious response from the United States…………
