Drinks laced with methanol in Laos

 

Holly Bowles and Bianca Jones were taken to a hospital in Thailand after they consumed drinks laced with methanol while in the town of Vang Vieng in Laos.

Sadly Bianca Jones died today from “brain swelling due to high levels of methanol found in her system”.  Her parents flew to Thailand to be with her.

Bowles remains fighting for her life.
