Research suggests more than 160,000 buffaloes are roaming wild across the Top End, and numbers are growing.(ABC Open). Wild buffaloes are destroying Aboriginal hunting grounds and sacred sites on floodplains near the remote community of Maningrida in West Arnhem Land.
