Two people have been found
dead in a paddock at a rural West Auckland property this morning. Police confirmed a ram in the paddock was
attacking people. Once police arrived,
they too were approached by the ram.
Following a risk assessment, the ram was shot.
The couple were in their
80s and it’s been suggested that the mating season could be the reason for turning
the ram rogue and warned farmers to be careful.
