Trish Smith, the mother who stabbed her two sons to death in the Blue Mountains was sacked by her employer in January 2020 for mental health issues. She fought the decision and represented herself but lost the case.
Commissioner Muir dismissed her application to be reinstated
in November 2023 but in March this year she applied for leave to appeal, which
was refused.
