Of the 251 Israelis taken hostage, 154 have either been
released by Hamas, rescued by the Israel Defense Forces, recovered dead, or
killed in encounters.
As of yesterday, at least 97 hostages are believed to still
be in Gaza, with at least 33 people believed to be dead, according to Israeli
officials.
