Help To Buy First Home Buyer Scheme vote delayed until November

The federal government has been unable to bring on a vote on its Help to Buy first home buyer scheme.  The PM has accused the Greens of teaming up with the Coalition to frustrate its housing agenda.

The Coalition has argued Australians would not want the federal government to co-own their houses.

Yesterday afternoon, Adam Bandt announced the party would move a motion to delay the bill for two months, which passed this morning.
