Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek evoked a rare Section 10 declaration against the Blayney gold mine on Indigenous Heritage grounds.
It’s alleged she took the
advice of a small charity over representatives of the local Wiradjuri people. The letter written by a senior Wiradjuri adviser
claims the expertise of elders was dismissed in favour of “baseless claims”.
