Israel confirmed the death of Ibrahim Aqil, Hezbollah’s top military commander and at least 10 other senior commanders.
He was leading a planned operation to invade
the Galilee and was also wanted by the
US for his role in the 1983 bombings of the American Embassy in Lebanon and the
US Marines barracks in Beirut.
