Floki, an English springer spaniel, takes part in Covid-19 detection training. Researchers from the University of Adelaide are working to train sniffer dogs to detect Covid in people, part of an international research effort aimed at training dogs that could be used to screen people at airports, hospitals or quarantine facilities. Early results show dogs trained in this way can identify infected individuals prior to the development of symptoms.
