Council suspended for $89 million debt

The NSW Government has suspended the beleaguered Central Coast Council and appointed an administrator after it revealed an $89 million debt. The suspension comes after the NSW State Government was forced to bail the council out after it was unable to pay 2,000 of its staff earlier this month.
