An alleged child rapist charged with sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl who was so terrified when he was released on bail she took her own life has been identified as 66-year-old Peter Frederick Humes.
Annaliesse Ugle's loved ones tearfully farewelled the youngster on the steps of Western Australia's Parliament House on Thursday evening as they rallied for new laws that would prevent accused child sex offenders like Humes from being allowed back into their communities.
