Hong Kong informers promised anonymity

Police in Hong Kong are to set up a telephone hotline for members of the public to inform on anyone who does not abide by the widely condemned national security law. Any intelligence gathered from the hotline will be handled by a newly created police division. Callers have been promised anonymity.
